The Lead Partner (Mountain Institute, France) is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the project. The work is shared between the project leader Georges-Marie Saulnier and the project manager Daniela Hohenwallner. Further the team is supported by trainees from all over Europe.

A Steering Committee consisting of the Lead Partner, the Project Manager, and all the 5 WP leaders assures the smooth running of the project. This includes amongst others the organisation of public and thematic WP-related meetings and workshops. The Steering Committee meets annually to discuss the current status of the project.

Additionally to the Steering Committee a small Technical Committee (Till Harum and Christian Kopeinig – Austria; Anton Branjel – Slowenia; Renzo Scussel – Italy; Ronald Kozel – Switzerland) consisting of 4 experts in the domain of hydrological monitoring and modelling ensures the comparability of the activities mainly concerning the data integration and interface and modelling frameworks across the Transalpine Space.

The project Advisory Board consisting of external experts and project observers ensures that the project is run in close collaboration between the politicians, policy makers, scientists and local and regional stakeholders.
